Yozons provides an enterprise secure document delivery and electronic signature (e-signatures) software. Electronic signatures are based on digital signatures calculated using a secure hashing algorithm along with RSA public keys and private keys for non-repudiation and to ensure that documents are not changed without detection after they have been legally signed. Electronic signatures and electronic records were given full legal recognition in the United States in 2000 when then President Clinton signed the E-Sign Act into law.
Secure document delivery is like encrypted e-mail, except that it's primarily designed for businesses that need to keep their communication private and confidential while at the same time providing an easy-to-use, easy-to-adopt, low-cost, web-based solution. It can be licensed for business private network deployments, or businesses and security conscious individuals may also use it's application service provider (ASP). Many businesses use this technology to comply with privacy regulations, such as the Gramm Leach Bliley (GLB) Act, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and 21 CFR Part 11. Governments use the technology to comply with the Government Paperwork Elimination Act (GPEA).
Unlike competitors that base their digital signatures on PKI, Yozons offers the same standard encryption technologies, including the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), without the high costs and complexity of PKI. PKI is public key infrastructure, including digital certificates that expire annually, certificate authorities (CA), registration authorities (RA), directories (LDAP), certificate revocation lists (CRL), and a host of protocols designed to transfer encryption keys that must be kept secure, even on PCs that are historically quite insecure.
